Rube/Lee Battle Rifle Kit Finished Posted by Adam
|
| Master wood worker LeeKegan has done it again. He has just revealed his hand carved BR-55 battle rifle. Once the wooden master was finished, Lee teamed up with Rube to create the molds. It took Rube a couple tries to get a few of the pieces ready, but after working diligently and tediously, he brings the Battle Rifle to the 405th Community. You want to know how it was done? Cruise on into our forums, and ask the craftsmen themselves. |

405th is proud to introduce another amazing prop, and it is truly a testament to the power of teamwork. Glad to have you guys aboard!
Here is the original thread involving the molding and casting process. Note: The 405th is NOT SELLING THESE. This site doesn’t sell, or encourage selling of any props or costumes. Do not email us about getting one.

If you think that is ridiculous, make sure you see his full sized, working Sniper Rifle, which is finished.
Or check out his fully functional (for a prop) M6C Pistol. Genius!

you keep making great stuff. Mabey you should start a site were you sell some of it to make money. Thats what I would do.

Those are some of the most awesome things I have seen. Too bad you’re not selling… I’d love to buy one, put a Tippmann marker in it, get some Mjolinir armour, and go paintballing. Sure, any hits would be insta-outs, but that’s how you play SWAT, too.

A WORKING sniper rifle? You gotta be kidding me, lol. What the hell does it fire? Or by working do you mean, as a prop it works, cus all the parts that should move, do move?
Posted on July 14th, 2009 at 2:32 am
All the part that should move, move. The bolt works, Mag comes out and will hold rounds, The scope works plus has night vision.

This is masterful work, I’ve always been interested in woodworking but I can never figure it out beyond the basic cuts. How can you get such specific detail?
Really cool, 10/10.
