Here's a thread we can dedicate to reference photos for the new Reach ODST!

I'll start!

These are all I have so far and I'm definitely going to be adding some more.

you are quite literally the coolest dude on the planet, i have been looking for exactly these kind of pics

I rather like the simplified approach to the ears on the helmet, though I was hoping for an overall redesign anyways (maybe a halfway point between the Halo 2 design and the Halo 3 design, or just a Halo 2 helmet with H3 level of details).

So the parts break down, as far as I'm able to see it at this point, would be something along the lines of:

Modified Halo 3 style ODST helmet (new ears, minor cosmetic detail updates)
Halo 3 style shoulders/biceps (with minor cosmetic detail updates)
Halo 3 ODST style gauntlets (possibly with new elbows and minor cosmetic updates)
Halo Reach Army chest rig with added neck ring
Halo 3 ODST style center belly piece
New style side belly pieces
And from the belt down it appears to be Halo Reach Marine gear (the heavier armor load out with the shins)

With these reference shots I can clearly see how much I need to add to my chest. Lots. That's the amount.

I like the new helm mods (ie..the ears)...going to have to play with some bondo and see what I can come up with.

Awesome man! Going for the Halo 3 version but still helpful! Can you tell me what you used for the screens on the xbox?
