Should have the last part done being printed tomorrow morning. Then on to sanding, gluing, and painting!

Got the barrel and light attached to the front two pieces. This thing is so cool! Sorry if I get a little too excited. I'm still blown away by this printer and the possibilities it's opened up!

Yep it's the Alpha. I'm loving it. Just had one minor problem with it, but they shipped me out a new hotend, and I'm back in business!

Back home from the work trip. These models are all split in half, and then some even have additional small bits sliced off as well. So I'm taking a little bit of time to merge halves together before printing. Should save quite a bit of time in the assembly and finishing stages. First piece came...

Started printing the Assault rifle today. Looking forward to making this, and carrying around a real weapon (just have the pistol right now) with my Master Chief! I'll post updates as I continue. Edit. Got a few more pieces printed. It's looking awesome!

Well dammit. Spent the night before drinking and having fun, and ended up sleeping till parade time. Oh well. Got to see some cool costumes, and wore my Master Chief a few times! Good to see everyone out there!!

Oh. First thread said they had room for 40 walkers. Didn't see anything else. Any one know if they are still accepting people for the parade?

I will definitily be going to DC this year and am bringing my Chief armor. Not sure if I will be walking with you or the 501st yet, but if you could put me down as tentative +1 I am leaning towards 405th this year. Thanks!

Hah! You're right. Thats what I get for throwing ot on quickly. I thought it looked wrong when I was putting it on. HAH noob mistake!

Finally got the Chief pretty much complete. Just gotta finish some wiring, and a couple straps, then neck and boot seals and it will be complete! I'll post some more pics as I get them from my photographer buddy.
