Heavy infantry Mando sintra build. Finally happy with it.

That's actually gorilla glue. (I actually borrowed the gorilla glue from my brother.)

Interesting. I have some E6000 lying around. What I also did was used some other pieces of sintra on the inside as "brackets" so the super glue had more space to hold on to.

Yeah. I may just use another garment that sort of provides a "neck seal" don't know about that yet tho. And thank you. That shape was HARD to get in sintra. (Talking about that boot) and even then, I'm not sure how it's gonna hold up to wear.

This is probably the best version of it I've managed yet. Still needs Bondo and sanding.

Under that is a boiler suit I had from an old job I used to do. Then just a black long sleeves shirt under that, and something for a neck seal. I'll figure out that when I get to it. Right now I'm trying to work out the boots. I can't get the boots to either stay together or look good.

    Help wanted

Been working with sintra alot recently, and it's been going pretty well. However, I need help shaping these boots. I have a 3D printer, and want to avoid 3d printing for as long as possible. (I just like to do things by hand.) I'm using 3mm sintra for this. The main issue is that I can't...

Sintra heavy mandalorian first suit up

Still got some adjust in an g to do for mobility and so I can actually sit down while wearing it. Other than that, feels good.

A bit more progress on my custom heavy Mando. This is the first time I've ever worked with sintra. But I'm happy with how it's gone so far.

First project in sintra. Working on the lowers now. Gonna 3d print the jetpack and whatever else I may end up needing to completely finish.

I'm editing the title because I Cringe at the old title.

I tried the scoring method, but it just breaks off parts I didn't want to break. Maybe it's just me being a noob with the material. But it's extremely frustrating. For me, anyway.

Thanks. It's not even me looking for mercs approval. (Would be cool, but no big deal if it doesn't happen. Hell, probably not even gonna apply) but I do want something that's a bit beefier and more durable than Eva foam.

Been trying to make a he at infantry mandalorian suit from sintra. Sintra is a nightmare. It doesn't cut very well, gluing it is nigh-on impossible, it doesn't do compound curves very well. I've attempted 3 chest pieces so far, and all 3 have failed. This is a combination rant/asking for...

    Heavy infantry mandalorian

Thanks. I do eventually want to do it in sintra, but that's going to be a long ways off. Not even for mercs approval. Just so it's more beefy and druable.

And people said good costumes couldn't be made of foam. At least, I think it's pretty good, anyway.
