So, after 8/9 years of joing this community I finally decided to actually share my progress and participate in the online activities of the 405th.. xD Years ago I tried my hands on making my own ODST Pep suit, but I never got around to finish it. Stuff happened, years passed and made a lot of other cosplay related stuff...

BUT! I bought myself a raw cast of an ODST Reach helmet, ordered my armor kit from Sean Bradley on Etsy.com (The man's work is legendary..) And began my long walk "Jump.. Hurh hurh.. Feet first.." of sanding and filling. :p

Anyway, I'll keep this post updated as I progress with my suit. Hope you'll take a look and maybe give some feedback! Stay green and very, very mean guys!

Alright! Kit arrived after a while and I'm currently trimming the parts.. After a few trials and errors I managed to find a paint that could work with the helmet, and this is the current result! :)

Hope you guys like the progress!

Excellent Paint job on the helmet! The decals Looks great did you make them or obtain them via other means? And the rifle is looking great as well, can't wait to see where your work takes you with that Sean Bradley Kit. (y)

Thx for the comment! ^^ - Sean actually included the decals as part of my order when I purchased the ODST kit from him. :) They worked great with the helmet and I can't wait to add a few to the armor once I get to painting and assembling it!

I ordered padding that is for a military helmet, worked amazing.

Aye I've been thinking about doing that, though I'm not sure how well it'd fit inside the ODST helmet.. Might just cut some foam to shape and fit it inside, but I guess I'll just have to try and see.

I've seen both ways I made my helmet out of pepakura and a have the pads and foam. The foam is just to take up space because as you can probably tell no ones head is that big haha

Hehe, true that! I'll post a picture of whatever solution I might come to when I try it out.

Good luck with all the sanding.....and sanding.....and sanding lol may want to invest in a dremel or belt sander.

I wish I did lol. I have allot for a small home but I want so many more that I don't have room for and ones the wife won't let me get lol

Well that's the thing, you can never own too many tools..! xD But aye, my gf ain't exactly thrilled either when I work with my dremel or such in the living room xD So I get banned to the kitchen or outside when I need the major work done.
