EDIT: BTW, the thigh's are almost directly Mk. VI. Shoulders are totally new though... and forearms can be modded from a mk. IV, but not the biceps.
 
Yeah, I noticed that about the thighs also, but I'll make them anyway cuz they've got a few major differences.

The Thighs are almost identical, nothing really major besides the lights on the knees are moved up to the upper side, and the side where the pistol attaches, seems to have a 'fork' cut into it. The Biceps, are not TOTALLY different. Carter's perms are almost Mark 6. And the design on the other Spartan's biceps are only 2 things different mainly... It has that round gear-like piece on the front, and the top of the shoulder is missing. Carter has it too, but it's underneath the top shoulder plate... Like many of the other Spartan's with huge shoulder plates. The Calf... Almost the same as Mark 6 like you said. Not really any major differences. The front Cod piece, is almost identical, but seems to have an extra 2 joints on either side thrown in. The Belt Pockets look like they are stretched out wider. The Butt plate is almost Identical. Forearms... That's another story. They have no top detail anymore. Almost like a flat plate is where all that intricate detail was before, and the elbow is pretty much cut off, and the edge squared. Hand plates are shaped differently. but still have those same 3 spots on them from Mark 6. The Feet, are completely different. And of course, the 2 things that are instantly noticable are the Chest, and Back. Make what you want of those...



All in all, if you already have a Mark 6, and you don't want to have to start from absolute scratch, you could get away with modifying the thighs, calves, cod, butt, biceps, and POSIBLY the forearms.
 
I know I know, I was just gonna make it for the people who don't have MK6, or for those who cant bondo (me and others), or aren't good with clay and so on. But thanks for viewing this topic!

hey blender user :) Select your model when you made it look smooth and ad the edgesplit modifier...



Oh and show your model man! I wanna see that in ambiant oclusion :)
