More Game Accurate Odst Shin Has Arrived!

Hello, first I would like to give proper credit. This new shin was made using Ruze789's original weta shin, I have merely tweaked it. I also want to make sure everyone knows I do have permission from both Skullcandy girl and Ruze789 to release this file.



Okay now down to business, I have been looking at MB's ODST build and after seeing his smexy ODST shin sculpt I thought I would try to make a pep file for everyone for a more game accurate shin model rather than the WETA ODST.



I repeat this IS NOT a Weta shin.

Just wanted to say that so no one is likely to get confused. :p

This is one of my first models and even though I used another model as a base please be kind lol :)
 
That's a great model!! Like you said, even though it's a remodel of Ruze's original, it still looks good.

I like how it's just in one piece now. Much easier to resin/rondo. Guess I'll have another useless pepped piece hanging around now (I already built a WETA version. Good thing I didn't do the second yet)

Thank you, hearing that from you is really an honor. I mean your pep files are pretty much what everyone bases their armor on :p. Im just hoping someone can unfold and test build it b4 I go back to school so I can see whether or not it may need support dowels. Most likely not, but if it is and im not here Im sure people will just add their own.



I thought it would be easier as one piece, guess I thought right. I also tried to make it less chunky depth wise in comparison to the Weta.

Here's my unfold so far! I'm posting this to save anyone else about to unfold it a little work/frustration. I think I'd rather not have support struts in this, because they will only get in the way of rondo-casting this. That's just my opinion. I think it will have enough structural integrity not to need those.







Just need to move the pieces around now (that was the default layout)



I think I can cut down the page count by more than half. Just give me a little time ...



Oh, heh, that marks my 401(?)st post. Cool.

Damn, I was gonna unfold that when I get home from school (and work). I'll edit this post later to make it a little smaller.

Nice work! So fast too, Looks a bit of a hefty build but I think itll be a nice peice to pep. Itd be a lil frustrating if you scaled it wrong after building it fully though lol!



Oh and @ Burke, if nightshade wants to add it to the ODST page then sure!

I can take a crack at unfolding this. I really like how this shin looks too! I wish this was around when I was workingon my ODST Dare costume, but oh well. I will get this unfolded and post it here. :)
