My first helmet mold(MkVa) was slightly more complex than yours :p

Nice work mate, when doing the shell put the mold 90 degrees on it's side. it's way easier than with it vertical, and don't forget the cardboard Mohawk.

Im glad I can help you forget about your problems if even just for a moment. Laughter is the cure lol. You helmet is amazing. I have to find a way to trick you into giving it to me.

Lol, Thanks again my man. Can't wait to see what you do next!! BTW, I plan on trying to duplicate your foam skillz, just never work with the material before. I want to make a full custom reach armor. Keep building, it's been my own personal counselor!

Thanks man, I will do this. Quick question, If I do, will it distort the mold any? I just don't want the subsequent castings to be warped. Also, will the cardboard mohawk stay pretty much level or will it sag on its side, or if it does sag, does it really matter much?

P.S. I'm starting this either tonight or tomorrow morniing, any help is appreciated.

This is way beyond what I can do with bondo. BLACKULA your skills are supernatural.

Its a work of Art

Keep building !

That is excellent! Id buy a copy if I didnt want to build one so bad! Did you use rebound 25? Im cuurently trying out cheaper things for alternatives... not too much luck yet. I have a noble 6 helm covered in clear RTV silicone right now... have to buy more to thicken it up though.

But your mold is excellent! Thinking about buying one anyway already lol.

Thank Guys I appreciate the comments. I'm just stoked I didn't have any major problems. @TheBradinator, I will, Maybe today, but definitely tomorrow. @Constrictor, LOL, your crazy!. Thanks again guys for viewing my thread.

Thanks again guys for the great comments.

My first casting. Not to happy with it. I think I poured it a little to thin. Is there a way to fix it now. Can I roll more plastic around inside? Anyways, if not I’ll try it again tomorrow. We’ll will see. Heres some pics.

here's what I think

it is a beacon in the night
on a lighter note good job

Lol, thank you!

Yeah, you can roll more inside if you are careful not to pour it into your lap :) it's never fun when that happens.

Thanks Brandon, I truly appreciate the help I received from people like you, Ithica & Ben Streeper. You guys are awesome. BTW, what thickness would you recommend on the plastic(Ex. 1/4" or 1/8" or Etc....), Just a general Idea. Thanks again My man!

NO!!! hes sending it to ME for inspection!!! :D my mouth is watering..... DO WANT!!!! MUST.... HHHAAAAVVVVEEEEEE.......

WOW! That is a VERY nice helmet. I especially like the little bits of detail. I'm a detail freak and I say, the more detail, the better! XD haha

I would love a casting of this helmet for my husbands future costume. Once I finish my Kat costume, I want to build a Carter one for him since I think a Kat/Carter couple would be cute. hehe lol
