Jorge's M247H Heavy Machine Gun WIP

I received a McFarlane Jorge figurine today and I've started a render of his rifle based on the dimensions of the one supplied with the kit.

Here's what I have so far.

The finished rifle will be scaled to just over 4 feet long.

I'm mostly making it for use in CAD files for scratch builds but I will split it into sections for pep as well.

Wire frame:

May take me a while to get it pep ready as other projects and personal matters have sprung up.

I will need to split the model into sections for easier pepping as well as solving any floating faces or open edges that there may be.

Thanks for the compliment.
I haven't seen AceHigh's model so I couldn't say.
It was made using the McFarlane figurine rifle and references provided by Ruze789.

Thank you everyone, it really means a lot to know so many people are looking forward to the model.

Side note: I met Carol Channing today and she is part of a movement to support the teaching of the arts in schools.
I feel this is very important to this community as well as we are creating an art form ourselves.
Please cast your support and if possible try to arrange exhibits of your finished works at local school art departments to show the world what it means to us all.
