Tenebrus and Tuna's Spartan III Build (PIC HEAVY!!)

Hello 405th, this is yet another -_- Spartan III Build by two friends: Tenebrus (me) and BigTunaGasm (frightskuller) along with my Dad, our bondo artist

.

We plan on finishing this for Video Games Live next April so we should have enough time to reach our goal. This build is actually farther along than the first update or two because i didn't think it would turn out at all.

At any rate here are our loadouts:

Also i will be equipped with a M6G Magnum, M90 Shotgun, SRS99 Sniper system and a knif.

Yeah we actually have a bunch more done than this so i might fire another update out in a day. But so far progress has been fairly quick as we have a three man team, it helps having others working on it to motivate you

Update: Helmets

Alrighty guys so we did a bit more work on the EOD and HAZOP and here are teh results:

Crooked as the ninth ring of satans infernal H311

Nice and shiny

EOD has come a long way..

Starting to carve in the detail.

Mini update

Hey guys, it's been awhile since the last update Tuna actually has a life so he hasn't worked on any of this for some time however i have assembled the Dawn Under Heaven forearm and have started working on another chest

I'll admit this was kind of a challenge to pep, the pieces were kind of small but it pays off because i think this model is perfect, great work from the Dawn team

Fits well too

And a late halloween extra

That's it guys i'll put another one out when more of my pep gets completed

thanks thorn, progress on the helmets has been kinda held up since it's frigid cold here in canada atm. We're setting up a garage workspace and then it will be finished soon hopefully

Bra-Vo Tenebrus!! That has got to be the cleanest I've seen of the forearm and if the chest you're doing is ours, I really cant wait!!

Yeah i'd love to! Unfortunately i live in canadaland so there are very few cons here

someday i'll save up and make it out to one of your awesome american ones.

Thanks, it means alot! you guys put out incredible models. I can't wait for more. Unfortunatly by the time i caught onto you guys i had already finished one chest and was 3/4 of the way through another. I might build it later as a replacement for the first chest i made because it pales in comparison to the Dawn one.

O.O wow thanks Blackula, you make some of the most amazing helmets on this forum so it means alot to me when you say that. Your visor tutorial was a gift from the heavens and i patterned alot of the detailing techniques i used after your Commando build. Thanks for commenting
