My first try at a statue

So I was very inspired by Zombiegrimm and his full size elite statue. (very well done by the way) I decided to make a statue for my son and while I was looking for Gundam files I came across this.




Not sure which gundam it is, or even if it is a gundam. I thought it looked cool so I jumped in with both feet. The files I found for it had the completed model at approx 18 inches tall. I decided to double the size of both files and make one that stands 3.5 feet tall. total of 166 pages. It will be perfect since my son is that tall right now. It turns out the files are a bunch of 3d pieces so I will be peping the individual pieces, then resin, then assembling the hardened pieces into the statue. I just started this today and have the ankle and foot of one leg done so far. Should be fun. Deffinately a new thing for me.

Loving the build oh and its not gundam its another mecha series kotobukia makes a plastic model of this.

It looks a bit like the Epyon from Gundam Wing, but no whip.

I was into building the Gundam models, but never watched any of the shows. They were just fun to build. This should be an interesting project. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

Very cool, I'm a fan of the gundam stuff. More so the look of the armor and fan art. Can't wait to see your progress!

I found out it is Alteisen from Super Robot Wars.

Made some progress yesterday. Got the shin structure and armor done up to the knee. all the individual pieces are taped together for the pictures.




I think it will end up being bigger than my son. the parts I have done so far go almost to his hip. lol
