Very useful foam gluing trick

I've found this thread on the replica prop forum some time ago:

Today I've tried it and I'm very pleased with the results
The basic idea is to use tape to attach the two foam pieces together before you add the glue. It works with rounded seams too, and helps you keep glue from pouring out to the outside. Highly recommended method!

Yes it works very well. been using that method for a while, Foam builders should use this method, Thanks for posting this

Just came up with another trick, this time on my own.

If you burn your finger with hot glue, pick a can of beer from the fridge and touch it. Drink the beer, too.

That's a fairly brilliant technique, good find! However the beer technique should be regarded as better
