Hi guys! Welcome to my league of legends vi costume. Here is an image of what she looks like. if you are interested in looking at a 3d model click here http://lolskinviewer.com/#Vi
What I will be making out of pep for this costume
Shoulders - pepped
Breastplate
Backpack (not seen in picture)
Thighs x 2
Knee x 1 - pepped
Shins x 2 - 1 pepped
Gauntlets x 2 - 1 pepped 95%
Shoes
I apologies for the sunlight glare shown in these photos and my shitty iPhone camera.
Pepped out gauntlet - missing finger hinges and lots of detail that has to be added later[/b]
View with the top taken off
Shoulders - inside and outside
Knee with the detail sitting on top
Definitely learned alot when it comes to pepping, Will not make as many mistakes when I pep out the second gauntlet.
1. Wanna get some opinions on how to put all these pieces together. I was thinking of resining/fibreglassing/rondoing all the pieces first, then attaching all the pieces together before doing bondo? What do you think about this?
2. Would you recommend rondoing the finger pieces, as I would hate for them to be heavy as I'm still not sure how to piece the fingers together without them being too heavy and falling off?
3. I'll be fibreglassing the core (part where my arm goes in) as I can reach in there, pretty much all the other pieces of the gauntlet will need to be rondo as they are such small pieces. Does anything think this will be really heavy to hold? I might just only use a very small amount to keep the weight down. Alot of speculating atm as I'm not 100% sure. Was pretty much just going to do trial and error with this gauntlet.
Still waiting for the resin I've ordered to turn up before I can start up my youtube channel where I'll be documenting most of my project. I'll link the videos in this thread when my channel is ready.
Also, seeing as these peps were ripped from an in-game model and cleaned up, some of the pep files have to be modified as I build it.
