Dead Space 2 SWS Motorized Pulse Rifle Blueprint (Project Hydra)

I´m working on a Dead Space 2 costume. So I finish the planning stage and start the designing stage... To start I decide to make the blueprint for the prop... The beauty known as the Pulse Rifle...

(NOTE: my idea is that the prop will have a functional blowback system)

I realize this is kind of an old thread but I'd love to make a dead space pulse rifle myself... I too am still in the planning phases! I'm probably going to use arduino with waveshield for lighting, sound and muzzle flash, like I did here but I'm thinking you could also run the blowback system with a DC motor... looks very interesting.

Also I've noticed in these diagrams...



The stock looks a little different and seems like it's collapsible. Not sure which one is game accurate though...
