Hey Garagemonster. I am not using a pattern no, its all free hand. The foam is plastazote, LD45. Its easier to cut than EVA foam so if you need to trim bits back a bit its a lot easier to do than with EVA. The only down side to plastazote is its more expensive to buy but you get what you pay for

I ordered my plastazote from http://www.thamesvalleysupplies.co.uk/rubber-item.php?key=261. I use the 8mm thick and for the detailing I use 2mm thick craft foam. Oh and I don't mind answering questions its how we pass on info so others can learn from what we know and vise versa
