3D Printed chest rigging

Hey all, I am in the process of creating my halo infinite spartan 3d printed build and have hit a roadblock. How do yall configure/ rig your chest piece? So far on my first attempt I glued the front plates and the bridgeing sections all together and tried to attach the back end with parachute clips, which didn't work out too well. Any suggestions/ ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Magnets and buckles are great to use. I've been primarily using buckles but I made a Rakshasa suit which has a lot of visible buckles and straps so I don't need to hide them in the armor. Velcro has been good for smaller parts but anything larger or weight bearing hasn't worked out very well for me
Hope this helps!
