Hiya! I'm working on a costume for an upcoming event. I've only just recently wanted to learn more about creating more elaborate cosplay outfits. I've always been more of a low-key cosplayer. I have not created anything with foam yet. I want to create a set of bat wings that can easily be transformed into dragon wings for another event. I've purchased EVA foam sheets, rolls, clay, and a couple of other foamy things. So I have supplies but no idea where to start! Any suggestions? Do you all know of any video or other tutorials out there?

There's tons of videos on YouTube for them. Search cosplay wing tutorial and you'll get a boatload of options. Depends on what you want your wings to do. Static or mechanical, the videos are there. Good luck!
I'll look around. I'm thinking static. I'm not sure I have time for anything too elaborate. :)

So I made a set of Batman inspired wings for a costume wedding I went to earlier this year. I found an ideal fabric at JoAnn’s and then my wife helped me pattern and sew it together. There are dowels inside for horizontal support. My long term goal was to have it encapsulate my arms and have dummy arms in front so I could articulate them that way, but now I’m making armor so that will never happen lol. These were convenient because they draped down around my shoulders like a cape. I thrifted a sport coat and sewed them into the neckline and shoulders. I didn’t make a tutorial or anything but hoping this helps as an idea.

Very cool! They look amazing!

I ordered some material to try. It's supposed to come in today. I'm hoping it works! I did find a tutorial so I'll be working on this next week. Hopefully, I can get it figured out!
