Assault Rifle

alright does everyone know what a nerf gun is? well if you dont its a toy gun that uses a spring loaded pump to shoot foam darts and thay are fun to play with and modify...well a couple of weeks ago i was playing with the recon cs-6 and i realised that with a little time and effort i could make it look like an AR so i got my hot glue gun and cardboard and set off to work



here is the original gun without the premade stock

and this is what i want it to look like

after stock is finished

this is the almost finished product and the barrel area is WAY TO BIG

i made a slight mod to the barrel area

i did add the bullet counter part but i dont have a pic of it im sorry but its pretty comfortable and its just something i decided to do at midnight one day so its not that great but i hope you like it

ive also made some armor and hopefully ill be able to post that

Hmm... not to be a nay-sayer, but in my opinion it doesn't really look like an Assault Rifle. I don't think you'll ever get a non-bullpup gun to look like one, either. Looks more like a Assault Rifle-based weapon. It looks cool, though. I'd like to see where this goes.

If you don't like your final product, I think i have an idea. Depending on how much you value that Nerf gun, you might be able to take it apart, create an assualt rifle out of cardstock, then put the Nerf gun parts into your pepakura gun.

I'm not saying, "It's not that great." I'm saying it doesn't look much like a Halo Assault Rifle. It looks like you used a lot of your own imagination and you're creating something of your own. I think you should deviate from your path to the Assault Rifle, and keep building this from your own imagination. It looks really cool.

I think it's too early on to say something like that because if you look at the reference pic and then at the pic of the sight/display and then at the whole thing, it is all in about the right position, it just needs a lot more work in the middle and towards the trigger. Then with paint... who knows, could be pretty good!

Yeah, things always look better with paint. Maybe it is a little early.
