UPDATE!!
All 15 sections are now done, woohoo!! Doing the math that only took.... roughly 182 hours.... ouch. Next I got to get these plasti-dipped, then I can finish combining sections, installing the lights and clips, then giving it a test construction to see how it looks and holds together. From there it's onto painting, then adding the felt for the ring's interior. I've only been holding onto some of this felt for over 4 years now, so I think it'll be happy to finally be utilized in a project. Updates should be coming a little quicker now too that all the heavy main assembly is done.
