i dont know if you remember, but i posted a topic about the burger king mask a while ago. well, i actually bought one off of ebay and it looks really good.

but as you can see

since its a rubber mask it wont hold its shape. when its spread out and formed right it looks really good, but since i dont have i big fat face to fill it, it doesnt fill out completely. i thought about fiberglassing the inside, but since its rubber, it doesnt really hold its shape for the fiberglass resin to dry.

im sure i can figure something out but i was wondering if anyone of you guys had any suggestions. thanks!

Id love to wear one of those and then stand over someones bed and wait for them to wake up.
ahem..

Anyhow.
What about using a mannequin head?

yea, it was thinking about putting it on some sort of rod, and the tie string through the different parts, like the nostrils, and pulling it out to keep its form. then do it in sections

that may work, the only Idea i had was using something along the lines of a helping hand with alligator clips or so.

Layer it with hot glue inside? Hot glue dries very quicky in 10-30 seconds, that would be enough time for you to hold it, let it dry and have it's shape kept.

What if you did a backwards mold kinda thing?
Put the mask on the mannequin for form, then make a mother mold of sorts on the outside. Once that's done, pull it off the mannequin and fiberglass the inside. Basically, it's like the normal casting method of this site, but you're kinda casting the model, and working off the mold :D

The "Burger King" guy creeps me the heck out.
:shiver runs up spine:
I'm so glad they didn't have him back when I worked for BK.
