COD jeans ghost cosplay

So a few days ago I found out my towns comic con was in less than a month. Last year I saw all these cool cosplayers and all I had was my halo helmet. Do this year I decided that I’d actually do a full cosplay instead of just one prop. And I so thought about what I could possibly get done in such a small amount of time. Then I remembered I had already sliced a ghost mask. So I decided to do a “jeans ghost cosplay”

I went with this cause I only have to print one thing and the rest I can buy an Amazon pretty much. When I went to print this there were a couple of issues. Let me start by saying this file kinda sucks. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6171400
First of all if you try printing the version that’s pre cut, you just can’t slice it. You’re gonna have to do some sort of editing to the file but I didn’t try. So when I printed it I noticed that around the start of the nose while their like almost like a layer missing. You could say it was something with my printer but for the past week my printer (Ender 3 pro) has been working flawlessly. There was also a ton of excess plastic on really weird places that I had to cut off. I’m starting to suspect that this file was either a really bad asset rip or just made by an amateur modeler. But aside from those issues it looks good once it’s done and the proportions are actually really great. After I took of the supports it broke in the place where it looked like it skipped a layer so I went and glued it.

Now all I have to do is wait for the weather by me to clear up so I can spray it will filler primer and start applying bondo. Once that’s done I can sow it onto a balaclava I’m getting Fran Amazon along with patches and gloves for the rest of the cosplay. I still need to figure out what vest I’m gonna get. At this point I have around 17 days till the con. One more thing I want to point out before I finish this first post is that, a guest mask SHOULD NOT COVER YOUR ENTIRE FACE. For example, if you look at it next to my dr.doom mask you can see it’s much much smaller. A ghost mask should just be big enough for your eyes and a little more. I’ve seen so many cosplayers get this wrong and have the mask look huge. As you can see on the image and ghost from the game, the mask is more of a plate that covers some of his forehead, his eyes, and his nose. It shouldn’t cover the entire front of your face.

Right about it looking like a horrible model.
Looks like they took 3 masks and laid them on top of each other.
Definitely worth getting a better file. Such a common costume there's plenty more masks for it out there.
Nikko is a well known modeler

It’s been a couple days and here’s my progress.

Thankfully I was able to smooth out the mask and fill the huge mark from where it originally snapped. I got it sowed unto a balaclava from Amazon that I got for 6 bucks. The hat I already had but the path came in the Amazon order along with the ear-pro (the headphones) and the gloves. The gloves fit decently and have some touchscreen capabilities but not too much. The ear-pro actually fits great and the way it works with filtering sound and stuff is awesome. I have about 14 days until the con and I really only have two more things to figure out. What vest am I going to get and if I should were the hat or not. The hat looks great with everything on but that would be going away from the skin I’m trying to replicate but I’m think that I could just go ahead and do my own variation of jeans ghost. If I get a plate carrier type of vest I probably won’t were the hat but if I get a pulse type of vest from r6 then maybe I will do that hat and just have the cosplay be my own original ghost variant.

(Pulse from r6)

These are the two types I mean.

Type 1

Type 2

So yea mainly I just need to decide on a vest to get or if all else fails I’ll just get a chest rig.
