Conventions that members of the Mountain Regiment may be attending.

I thought I would start a post so that you can let the rest of us in the mountain regiment know which conventions you may be attending. If others are going to the same convention, we can set up meet ups at it and hang with other UNSC folks.

Twisting Neather and I will be attending the up coming convention in our home town, Tree City Comic Con that is being held Oct. 17 & 18. Let us know if any of you might be there.

This is great idea. For us, with Hydra being on active orders until the end of the year we probably wont make Tree City, but I'm sure in the future we will venture out to more events with our 405th Brethren. We will be setting up such for StarFest here in Denver, as well as Denver ComicCon... (and if you were to choose one for a visit... definitely choose Denver ComicCon).

Ya, if we can get the regiment stuff finalized before then though we can have business cards and maybe a little more at our booth there. Should have at least 1 set of armor in the booth as well.
I know we would love to go to Denver CC maybe form a caravan out there with the other Boise guys.

You will most regularly find me at Star Fest, DCC, and NDK on a yearly basis. I was thinking about starting going to rocky mountain con as well. Adding it to my repertoire as well. Depending on how funds go, I will probably be attending RTX next year as well.

Had the pleasure of meeting Robot Chicken at Tree City as well as connecting with a guy in an ODST costume as well. I hope to have an official presence there next year

I plan to attend Denver Comic Con and/or Star Fest. Looking at the guest line up if I can only attend one I'm thinking Denver Comic Con.

I will be going to Sakura Con first weekend in april, would like to go to Denver Comic Con but Twisting Neather will be at AIT in virginia still at that point so may stay closer to home with a convention that same weekend in our home town and then Fandemonium August 14-16 next year.

I'll be going to DCC for sure, typically do full MC for at least one day and I will be hosting a panel (non-costume, non-halo related) one of the days as well.

Even though we didn't have any completed Halo costumes, we got to meet DragonMaster and Twisting_Neather there and my Spider-Boy was thrilled to have a photo taken with an accommodating ODST.

There were a lot of fun costumes present and a lot of celebrities. The organizers mentioned to me there are plans for it to be even bigger next year.

The best part of the day for us, however, was getting to sit inside an authentic Batmobile!!
