Destiny Days of Iron Crown build

Hey guys I have been making armor a while now and the way I pick my next project is to play a few popular video games. And as soon as I saw the new armor in Destiny's new dlc the rise of iron I had to make it. I looked everywhere to see if someone had made a pep file for the Days of Iron armor but I couldn't find any. So I decided to make it my self.

Hmmm interesting look forward to seeing that, been wanting to do a Titan armor for some time now and was waiting to see how others would go about it. I believe you are right there are no PDO's for the rise of Iron armor set yet, but have you thought of looking into altering the PDO files they have for the first year edition titan's? I've downloaded the file and it seems pretty good just need's some altering and it would be good to go depending on which armor set your thinking of. Which leads me to my next question which armor set where you planning on building? Best Of Luck!

In the game itself it has a 3d option, so i used that to draw some plans to the right size. From here I plan on building a cardboard model to get the rough shape of the helmet.

Thanks vivalablake89! I haven't thought about altering any existing helmet files, I'm not the best at computer stuff so it never occurred to me.That's a great idea! I also think that the Days of Iron armor set with the ornaments look the coolest so that's what I'm going for.

I really have no idea how to make the fire effects, any ideas would be a big help.

Obviously a realistic looking fire effect is out of the question, but, by using some orange/yellow/red LEDs and diffusers, you could achieve a really cool effect.

Only problem with LEDs and diffusers is that the fire effects are inside the visor of the helmet, it would probably work with the rest of the armour but I don't think you would be able to see very well with all those lights in your face.

I remember seeing it but never acquiring it, It might be difficult to alter an existing file to get that wolf shape on the face but cant wait to see how you do it, this is going to be one awesome Titan build!

Sounds like a good idea, I'd really like to see how the chest piece would look like, with the wolfs head and fire, ohhhh so cool.... And don't worry my friend, we'll get you that helmet one day. Once of course we get you through Prison of Elders....and the raids....and boost your level high enough to actually beat a nightfall.....oh boy.....

Yep, that is correct.

I got a lot done with the helmet. I now plan on smoothing it out with Bondo for molding.

Cool, I really enjoyed the first destiny (Until about 2 months after taken king) and I'm really excited to be able to play destiny 2 on pc (along with halo 6)

Sorry guys the project is on hold due to bad weather conditions, but I can tell you guys the plan. Now that I have the basic shape of the helmet my plan is to use bondo to smooth out the surface and add details. When that's finished I hope to make a mold of the hole thing.

The weather should clear up in a few days and I hope to get some more work done.
