Hey all. I'm a new member on the 405th, so this is my first ever build. I guess I'll start off by saying that the Destiny Beta was awesome and I cannot wait until 9/9/14 comes around so I can stop having these withdrawal symptoms (Curse you bungie!
)
I've done some digging around on the internets looking at concept art, trailers, in-game photo's, fan-art etc. looking for inspiration so I can create my own Warlock cosplay aimed towards what I want my end-game Warlock to look like, hopefully, in time for the games release. I've decided on going with a "loner" warlock, so to speak. One that has been to all sorts of places, he's seen things and done stuff. Basically, he's been through a lot and I want his gear to show that.
My Destiny character(PS3):

These are some of the final reference pics I've decided on.

A screenshot I took from one of the game play trailers:

And finally a couple of small sketches I drew to get a rough idea of what I wanted:

I've decided on the worn, multiple layered robe, from the first pic, along with some shoulder armor and leg armor similar to the 4th and 5th pictures. For the helmet, I'm going to try and make a custom helmet similar to the 6th picture, using the Halo 4 "Oceanic" helmet as a base for pepakura, then modeling/shaping it afterwards for more of a "Destiny" look similar to the reference picture. I'll also remove the grid(not sure what to call it) part on the visor for more of a EVA look. I've chosen the Oceanic helmet as I feel it resembles the one in the picture most.
First things first: printing time. I'm using 160 g/m2 A4 card-stock from Office Works(Western Australia) as it was the closest I could get to 150g/m2 without having to order it in. Pic below for any other Australian members that want to know what I've used.

I'll try and remember to take photo's to keep this updated, roughly step by step(including Pep files when I get to them), although there may be delays as I work part-time.
