Finished Fallout New Vegas Suit

I'm not the first to do this project but I'm choosing a different route. I want to give a special thank you to Kommissar for his help with the chest armor.

I am still not done of course. I will be posting updates as I do them. Here is a vid explaining a little about what I plan on doing.

i kind of like how i'm going for screen accuracy, while your going the more realistic approach with some of your materials.

i guess we know who will survive the apocalypse more if it comes while we wear our costumes! lol

i hope to be sending you the pieces for the armor soonish, but as i said, i'm rushing my own costume to be finished by the 7th.

i dig your backpack! i still need to make mine.

What material is that duster made from Ithica? It looks like the stressed faux felt they make the pirates of the caribbean costume frock coats from.

I think it is the same material. It is cheap but it does the trick. I had to make a few cuts so why ruin a good coat...lol.

Did you happen to find out what (or based off of) type of pistol the NCR Rangers use in the game?

And if you answered this question I apologize, but does your modified M40 mask have a voice amp on it? I believe I seen an officer with one of those when I was in Korea.

Its very cool that you have time to pursue this project while in the field. We never had that opportunity in the Corps unfortunately. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

the pistol is a colt single action army 7.5 inch cavalry revolver, in my humble opinion at least.
