Call me crazy, but I just don't get it. Bayonets are for rifles, not pistols. Are bayonets available for rpg's yet? LOL

I saw this in a cheaperthandirt magazine, and my thoughts were along the lines of WTF?! I actually know some paranoid people who buy this... There is honestly no point in this... at least one I can see. I think a laser might be a bit more effective... Your knife should be a tool and possibly a last resort... Not the first point of defense.

Cheers!

Wow. From pistol whip to pistol rip.

"Yeah, my knife wasn't intimidating enough, so I got the pistol attachment for it." Now you can bring a knife to a gunfight and not be the stupid one.

Lol. Whats next? "Don't like using guns but still want to have a bayonet on your weapon of choice? Now you can have the convenience of a bayonet for your sword or buoy knife!"

Or maybe paintball bayonets. Just a tube filled with paint attached to the bottom of your paintball gun rigged up to dispense paint when the end is pressed. Now, airsoft, I don't know how that would work.

edit: Just looked at where its mounted, and thought "why not just put a device that launches firecrackers there instead? Kinda like a grenade launcher for your pistol."

Bayonet pistol...good lord, and I thought only Hollywood was running out of ideas. Maverick-17 that knife to the gunfight joke made me laugh :lol

Actually, it's not as stupid as it first appears. (it's still dumb, but only less so).

Lots of times in close combat situations (ie inner city ops), a squad will have to holster their primary armament and use side arms, mearly because it takes longer to swing a 3 foot weapon to bear then a pistol (and at close range, both are still lethal. Granted in reality your taught to carry your kbar in one hand, while leading with your pistol in the other. Granted yeah this is still Pretty pointless.

I think I would prefer a regular fixed blade knife (as a "very last" resort CQC weapon). That thing is more than likely to injure you, than your opponant. I suppose you can sell any old crap these days if you bang "Tactical" in the title. Speaking of which, when did a "torch/flashlight" become a "tactical lighting system"?

Oh Tactical just means it's for fat people. The 'Tactical' pants they have at Cheaper Than Dirt are stretchy and for extremely obese people, thats not very tactical to me.

Go run to that building and well see how 'Tactical' you are afterwards.
