Nah, I'm pretty sure that's the pylon from Installation 04 (or from the 2nd level in CE, same thing)

Looks more like the spire from Halo CEA, also seen in one of the new Reach multiplayer maps.

Guys you are all sooooo right, its the same building, but Im only going to build it on a snow terrain. All kinda cool Forerunner stuff will be coming there. Tomorrow evening Ill start making the spire. This is gonna be interesting.

Question: how will you do the snow effect? Is there special stuff that looks like snow and sets hard?

Thanks! Well, the terrain, cliffs and trees will be painted white. So thats simply it. lol It looks frosty enough cos I know this from experience, you know I used to build a Halo 3 Control Room structure miniature a couple years back and used pretty much same techniques. But who knows if I figure out something new. Dunno yet.

One critique would be the snow on top of the structure - my personal opinion would be to have more. It's a balancing act though, making sure to keep a level of detail and enough snow and ice.
