Hey all, I have recently found some concept art while scouring through reference photos that I believe would make a fine suit. Now I have to start off this thread by stating that this post is more of a placeholder for now, rather than an actual starting point. As some of you might know, this is because I am currently elbows deep in my Mark VII Core build.
What you see before you is a concept art from the r/halodripfinite subreddit, from a poster named RennWorks (Here). Now personally I found this concept to be awesome, a true kitbash and mashup of the Mark V (B) and Mark VII cores into a beautiful concept of what a Mark VII (B) might be. The goal of this thread, and build, is to bring Renn's concept to life. Personally, I've always found concept material for Halo to be some of the best ideas and artwork to come out of the Sci-Fi genre, and this one is no exception. In the posts to come I'll be going over modeling this suit in Blender for references, potential modifications needed to make files work together, as well as the steps that go into any other suit! This may lay dormant for a time, but it will be added to hopefully sooner rather than later, and it's my hope some of you will come along for the journey.
Sigma, over and out.
