Halo 4 Master Chief and Spartan Warrior Armor - COMPLETE

Halo-ween is over, amidst the destructions after hurricane Sandy. My kids had fun with their costumes. My son's Halo 3 Master Chief received a lot of attention.

So now, today I have begun next year's costumes. I will start with building the "warrior". Took me about 2 hours to complete one of the boots.

Okay, that running show is PERFECT for a Halo boot base. It even has the hexagon-style details of the rest of the undersuit. Good call!

I used some of the files and modified for foam. I did that with the thigh piece, but not the shin. My reference photo shows the pep file is not entirely correct. So, I drafted my own shin and completed 90% of it here.

And here is the back with opening on the bottom to allow the foot to go through.

Quick update. I finished up the shins and worked on the butt piece.

The butt piece is temporary finished with multi-color left over foam. Will look closely and detail it soon.

The chest piece was the most challenging. The pep file was done by monkeyfuj and I modified it quite a bit for foam. This is not a criticism, but if you plan to pep this chest piece, you need a lot of patience.

Looks the right size, but I need to detail it with foamies.

The rib cage works but lacks detail. The good thing about this chest piece is my son just need to put it on. No cutting and reattaching required.

Moving on to the gauntlets and shoulders.

Sadly to say, I will keep my activities to a minimum from now on. Since hardly anyone is interested in this thread, this will be my last update of my work on Halo 4 Master Chief and Spartan Warrior. From now on, my work will only show up at theRPF and on my YouTube channel. Thank you all for all the support and encouragement I received the last 2 years.

I missed the last update somehow, so sorry bout that or I would've said something. I subbed when I first saw it, and like many are probably guilty of, I lurk around and sometimes do not post anything after reading up on it. I think you're doing an awesome job on everything so far. I hope you'll reconsider not updating your thread, because it looks like you're making great progress.

It's a shame that people have shown so little interest in your build. I don't know if you are even checking this thread/forum anymore, but I must say that that this is the best looking master chief foam I have seen thus far! You really captured all of the details of the suit extremely well!

Gotta agree with spartan1313 here, this is one very nice piece of work! All the armour looks very accurate, and it looks like you packed in nearly every detail hidden on the actual suit. Your work with foam on this build is also very clean. And that DMR
