Halo 5 release Las Vegas

So with Halo 5 coming out I know that is the perfect opportunity for all 405th members to suit up. I am just trying (hoping) to get whom ever is in the Mountain Regiment, or anyone else for that matter, together for the release in one spot for the Las Vegas area. I am looking to do it at the Game Spot on North Decatur I have already confirmed with the manger and they are looking forward to it, as I'm sure most anywhere would as it's great PR for them. I know Mstuvmgc has already confirmed he is down. Also was thinking if we need and build party or a test fitting session before hand I think we could set something up. If anyone would like to do this, question or suggestions drop me a line and let do this.

I amended the thread name with Las Vegas to be specific since we will have a handful of MTN folks hitting up different events.

That being said I know that 343i asked us to participate at a Microsoft store last year. I have not heard anything new this year but I will let you know as I get that info. Gilmortar had all the hookups but he has a few cons in the upcoming few weeks so news might be slower.

Unless 343 wants to buy me a plane ticket Ill be stationed in the Denver/Highlands Ranch Microsoft store But I recommend you guys bring a handler and depending on what stuff you guys bring ask gamestop to lock up your things. Midnight launches can be hectic and there are tons of people in and out of the store, its super easy for a prop or change of clothes to get nicked.

Thanks for the change better to avoid confusion lol. Yeah keep us posted on if you hear from them, if not no biggy. The gamestop we are going to is the one i went for the halo 4 release and it wasn't terrible as far as people go. But i do agree, we should have a handler. I think im going to ask my friend who was mine last year.

OKay so Blawjew told me that some people got ahold of him and said they wanted to come but didnt have costumes to wear... Well i say SHOW UP ANYWAYS!!... Ahem, i say this because i think it would be fun to have more people at the gamestop than just us two. So what you dont have a suit of armor. Wear a halo themed shirt and come have fun with us! Besides, i might have a helmet and possible a gun someone can use. Helmet for sure.
Okay thats all i wanted to say on the matter. Dont be afraid to show up because you feel you cant participate with us because you're not dressed up. I think meeting some more people in vegas would be great. Then we could actually have build parties out here lol.

OKay so Gamestop called me today and informed me that i could go pick up my xbox already... Now to me this kinda takes away from the whole midnight release experience if you ask me. Also I found out that since i am on the west coast that they will doing the "midnight release" at 9pm instead. Now i understand they are doing this so everyone around the US gets the game at the same time, and it makes sense.... BUT it sucks for me since ill be stuck at work at that time.... So tomorrow (Tuesday) ill be going down there to ask some questions about the whole xbox thing and finding out how late they will be open. Im hoping they still decide to stay open until midnight. Ill keep anyone interested posted.

Due to things out of Mstruvmgc control I had to do a solo campaign, but it's all good we were able to make up for it today I think he will post on that later.

Not only did I get suited up twice but I went for a third on Halloween, got stopped just about every house for pictures for either me or my wife's costume felt like we were out at comic con not trick or treating lol...
