Foam Halo Infinite - Master Chief deluxe helmet color code/pantone?

Hello! My name is Dani. I recently got into the hobby of cosplay, and I'm quite good at it. I acquired the Deluxe Edition Master Chief helmet from Halo Infinite. This is going to be a strange question, as I couldn't find the exact place to ask it and get a response... I have the helmet, but I want to make the armor myself by hand. The problem is that when it comes to painting it, I’ll have an issue ensuring that both greens match, so I would like someone to provide information about the color code/Pantone used for the green of the Deluxe helmet. This way, I can find or create a green that is as accurate as possible for the armor. I know this is complicated, and I might be delving into business privacy issues, but it would really help me. I don’t want to have to paint the original helmet just to match the colors. There is no way to make sure which color is just using internet images but i'll add some of it anyway to make more obvious which helmet i'm talking about. I'd prefer using spray to make it but i know that's more difficult than making a mix myself. Thank you!;););)

Thank you all for your attention and i'll wait patiently for a very helpful hero to save me <3

Several of our members have used this helmet for their Infinite Chief costumes and almost all of them that I know have repainted the helmet to the same color of the armor they used. I know you said you did not want to repaint the helmet, but honestly that is going to be the easiest way to color match your helmet to your armor, especially if you want to use a commercially available paint, such as Rust-Oleum Satin Eden, the paint that is one of the closest matches.

Otherwise you are going to want to take your Jazwares helmet to paint store, a specialist one like Sherwin Williams or even a big box store like Lowes and get them to make a custom mix for you.

The helmet is not difficult to repaint, I did one myself:

Hey Dani! It’s awesome that you’re getting into cosplay!about the green color on the Deluxe helmet unfortunately there isn't one official Pantone code. From what I’ve seen on the forum, many people recommend RAL 6000 or 6018 as close shades. Its also worth trying to mix few paints to get the perrfect color.good luck with your projects!if you want you could also experiment with different acrylic paints. Many folks have mentioned that mixing shades gives the best results and spray is a great choice for large areasGood luck!:)

Lots of paint shops will mix custom colors and have color scanning as part of that service.
Its pretty common for someone to walk in with a sample, fabric, swatch, board, toaster, whatever that they want to match.
If you can find a shop that does that just take in the helmet, have them sample a section, and make up a couple spray cans for you.

SgtSaint is right i used the same helmet and repainted it with my armor so i get the right colors. i got a can of eden and sprayed a plastic lid then went to lowes close to me and had them scan it and mix up a gallon of exterior satain. this way if i have to do any touch ups i know the paint will match.

Umm... Like house paint? On your armor?

I was thinking more like custom mixed automotive spray cans. The local auto parts chain stores here do that.

I've used interior latex house paint on most of my armor builds at this point. Because I primarily use foam using latex paint gives me enough flex to not worry about it cracking and flaking off like spray cans sometimes do. Add in that I can get a custom color in various sheens in an 8oz sample for under $8 (US) it's more cost effective than most other options. It also thins nicely to spray through an airbrush for an even coat and no brush strokes.

Yeah buddy I used it on my 3d printed I was really shocked how well it did with the scratches and as for the foam suit it really flexes well and water will thin it down and you can air brush it to patch spots.

How long does it take to airbrush a whole suit? I imagine you use a pretty wide nozzle. I was looking into alternatives to spray cans cause it's pretty expensive and feels wasteful to be going through ten or more cans. My wife is looking to get an airbrush for her cosplays and I was thinking about using it for weathering armor and making mirrored visors, but if I could get a gallon of the Reach teal, that would be great. and storing it or buying new for touch-ups is easier.

I have larger nozzles now, but starting out I only had what came w/ the cheap airbrush I’d bought. It took awhile, but I just put on some music or a podcast and zoned out while I worked.
