Halo Reach - Commando Helmet build WIP

So I started this about 4 days ago got done with pep work today, along with got the supplies to finish it. I live in Co but I am in Tx for the summer. Does anyone know if gold body filler bondo is different form regular bondo I want to know before I open it up that's all Walmart had. Resining it tomorrow. Any one know a good visor for this build.

Gold will work, but it's not going to be any better than regular bondo body filler. If you have the opportunity, try to return it and get the regular stuff, since it's cheaper. If the price difference isn't all that much, don't worry about it; go ahead and use it.

Update: finished resigning yesterday I am now in rondoing/bonding stage

Update: I got done with rondo and I'm still bondoing.

Good progress so far. Make sure to bondo small sections rather than trying to cover a bunch of the helmet in one go. I've seen far too many helmets die at this stage because the person working on it slopped on bondo all over the helmet, thinking he/she could sand it down to the final shape later.

Thanks, yeh I have been taking my time with it. This is only my second helmet I have resined and bondoed. The first was ok but a little warpage symmetric wise.

UPDATE: This build will be put off for a couple months, because it was a build that I did for my younger brother who lives with my mom in Texas who I see for my school breaks, I live in Colorado with my dad I had a limited amount of time to complete this build the update above is as far as I got with the week I had.
