Hey everyone! :)

So I'm currently doing a Halo Reach build and decided to share my progress as I go instead of just dumping images when its all finished. That said, Its mostly made.

Biceps/Shoulders:
When I made my first bicep pieces for the suit I figures they were ok, but they were not at all like the game models in the slightest.

So with a little help with unfolding pepakura files from Danielle Debs Props & Cosplay, I managed to make better ones!

I then settled on Carters shoulder pieces.

And thats the shoulders done!

Torso:

For the torso i just used pep files for templates, wasnt too difficult.

Now you'll have to excuse the jump in completion here, I kind of forgot to take photos for a while. This is the first test fit i tried with the torso, biceps and forearms (forgot to picture them too)

Again, another skip in progress, another test fit. This time the belt, cod and butt plates are made, as well as the little piece in front and below the chest piece, and the spine armor. and LIGHTS!

Thats all I have for the moment, I'll keep updating this thread as I go and I'll hopefully remember to take pictures!

Ok, little bit more progress on the suit!
Got the thighs and knees done. Few mistakes here and there but they're not super noticeable, but if they become more prominent with paint then I may redo them!

Got the shins finished! Now just onto the boots and then the helmet!
I also have to fix the LED's in the back of the torso, the soldered wires keep coming apart from the strips, its starting to bum me out :(
Anyway, pictures!

Just a question - have you already tried everything on together to make sure everything fits?
I hope it will fit because it looks like either the Spartan skipped the leg day or the top is overly huge. O_O
But great job on making it clean.

Everything fits pretty snug! The problem with the sizes has to do with the size of my body, I'm tall and really skinny so if I scaled stuff down to fit, the length on pieces would be too small, it's a dilemma

What LED lights do you use? Can you link them? Are they battery operated?

This is the exact LED's I've been using, Blue 12V 5cm LED Strip | maplinIreland picked them up here in Ireland but I'm sure you can find similar stuff where ever you are. They are battery operated, I've been using 9V batteries to power mine, you can use lower voltage batteries for shorter strips but the 9V is pretty good for battery life!

I've used Glowhut 9V 3528 LED strips in a few of my builds before which might be a bit more friendly for North American shipping for you SilverRosemary. They also have an option for an add on of rechargeable 9V batteries and chargers for the order which makes things nice and easy.

You live in Ireland? That is way too cool. I may study abroad there. In like, five years lol. Not sure if I could reason the plane ticket for some LED lights!

Thank you! I'll go look at em. I hope they have pink
Edit; No pink :( maybe I can get some thin pink plastic.
