CURRENT PROGRESS: Shoulders constructed, needs clean up. next will be the hip plates most likely. After that I will be doing free handed work for the appendages.

Hey All,

I've always wanted a medieval cosplay set just to get all my favorite genres done. I am trying to speed through the Thorns set from Dark souls for this as it was one of my favorite armors in all of gaming, and reading berserk has given me motivation.
(Don't worry my halo stuff is still on the docket but this is easy and quick)

Building the armor from foam as per usual

nothing a dremel stone and heat gun can't smooth out.

As much as I want squishy spikes i think i'll learn front flips on flat groundbefore rolling on this armor lol.

looks awesome!!! I've always wanted to build a dark souls cosplay. There is something about knight armor that just looks and feels so awesome. Can't wait to see the final result!

Hip plates constructed, probably one of the easier pieces of cosplay i've had to make. on to the limbs now which will be pretty basic shapes.

YES! and sks props HD-foam is my primary source, but i picked up some foam from michaels that was white too.

Freehanded some easy bracers and bicep armor, details will overlay the top of them. but decided to do a mock suit up and i'm liking it so far even without the spikes. Chainmail I will probably shorten up to not cover the full bracers.

Got the legs base construction done. Used kamui patterns for the shins and free handed the thighs. Also rebuilt my forearms by freehanding with the duct tape method.
