How do I connect shoulder armor to bicep armor

I am struggling to figure out how to connect these two armor pieces. The should piece has an awkward connection area to the bicep and I am very confused on what to do. I would like it to be modular. That way I can use other shoulder pieces but it doesn't have to be. Any help would be amazing.

If you haven’t already printed the Commando shoulder, you can take both parts into something like meshmixer or 3D Builder, line it up with the bicep where you want it, then do a subtraction to cut out the shape of the bicep from the shoulder armor. It should be able to sit more flush then.

there was a tutorial made by the amazing DeltaAlphaZulu on his youtube that goes over boolean tools in blender! Here is his video! I recently had to do something similar for a helmet attachment and there was a slight hiccup but in the end it worked and this tutorial was super helpful!

Also make sure to have some references on hand to make sure when you use the boolean tool its in the right spot and exactly how it should be! unless you want to make it different! If you do that's just fine!
