How to make a silver visor

So I have already vacuum formed a CQB visor and am now on the coloring part and was hoping for just a silver visor. I'm thinking that it would be as simple as spraying the chrome on the back side like you do to make the one way mirror on most and not need to dye the plastic. I just want some confirmation that this is the right idea or if it isn't then how you would make a silver visor.

If silver is what you want then congratulations, you've picked the easiest color to do. You won't have to dye the visor at all, just spray your Chrome and you're good to go!
Just be very careful not to touch the inside of your visor if you can help it. The paint can be very delicate.

ok thanks for the confirmation. It really is as simple as I thought.
