Definitely learned alot when it comes to pepping, Will not make as many mistakes when I pep out the second gauntlet.

1. Wanna get some opinions on how to put all these pieces together. I was thinking of resining/fibreglassing/rondoing all the pieces first, then attaching all the pieces together before doing bondo? What do you think about this?

2. Would you recommend rondoing the finger pieces, as I would hate for them to be heavy as I'm still not sure how to piece the fingers together without them being too heavy and falling off?

3. I'll be fibreglassing the core (part where my arm goes in) as I can reach in there, pretty much all the other pieces of the gauntlet will need to be rondo as they are such small pieces. Does anything think this will be really heavy to hold? I might just only use a very small amount to keep the weight down. Alot of speculating atm as I'm not 100% sure. Was pretty much just going to do trial and error with this gauntlet.

Still waiting for the resin I've ordered to turn up before I can start up my youtube channel where I'll be documenting most of my project. I'll link the videos in this thread when my channel is ready.

Also, seeing as these peps were ripped from an in-game model and cleaned up, some of the pep files have to be modified as I build it.

Thanks Phil!

Alright guys so I decided that it would be best to attach all the pieces together as I wasnt sure if you could put pieces together once resined. And I am glad that I thought to do that! It was a pain to sort out and get the pieces together. I had to cut alot of my pep work up (doing that should be illegal :O) to get it to sit together.

My iphone camera is really screwed up, i think something is wrong with it! :( so sorry about the pictures I didnt realise until I had taken all the photos and put them onto the computer and saw there was something really wrong with the photos.

I cut the core up, glued on the "barrel" piece an added tabs to the core to

All glued down!

Inside the core. Dodgy gluing but it works and holds together!

In progress test fit!

Closing up gaps, neatening up some parts

Next main part is added. Putting this in the right spot was really hard. It's probably wonky but I can't seem to do much about it, hopefully it's not really noticeable! :(

Knuckles are glued on! Just waiting for these finger hinges to be modelled and I will be adding them next! YAY"

For all you pro people out there ;) What would one recommend for a strapping system? The weight of this hand is getting noticeably heavy and I believe once it's been hardened (mostly rondo hardening as fibreglass is near impossible) that it will be heavy (maybe even top heavy :S) and it will be easier if it straps to my arm and maybe even straps onto my shoulder as a bit of extra support. Any tips? Better to think ahead ;)

Once the fingers are on, will be getting a piece of wood or some sort to put into the hand to hold onto as my previous idea fell through. Pretty much would then have to wait for my resin to turn up to get a start on the hardening process. Until then I'll be working on some more armour pieces of the costume :)
