Well, I've kept this under wraps for a while now. Already I'm looking at it and determining what needs to be re-done but that's another story. Here are some progress pics. I want to work on it but my dad has been busy in the garage. The garage is my father's domain and I dare not mess with it while he's working in there! :p

It does open, but I cut it lopsided so I'm going to re-do the actual housing.

Here are the tubes early on...

Here is my sister (trying) to hold it. She's only 5'3" so she makes it look huge. It is really 1:1 scale though, measuring around 4.5 feet.

Like I said I know a lot of mistakes but I'm going to go back and rebuild the rocket housing (as well as parts of the ammo itself... I need a lathe...)

I'm going to smooth it out when I have time and remove all of the little rough spots. What do you all think?

decent start... you should head to the hardware store and pick up some concrete forms, to house your barrels in the middle and end section. thats what we used and it works great.

good luck on this. i just recently worked more on mine, its a hell of a build, and is very stressful.

I'll definately look into stuff you used for your props. I have a few days off and will try to work on this.

nice build, especially the cradle. im using the concrete forms mentioned above, they work great. if you or anyone else comes across printable "SPNKr" lettering let me know, i need to make a stencil to spray that onto the barrels...
