Mass effect Help - Male Quarian

Hey all,

So while the site had is hiccup I was trawling the internet, different forums and informative sites, and found that there was very little in the way of a male quarian armour costume.
The best I could find was some blurry photos on a deviantart page, and a thread from a cosplay site that had the start of a build, but it was cancelled due to a frankly crappy helmet commission.
Congrats to the blurry photos dude that looked like an epic piece.

Now I took up the challenge of creating the costume, mainly cause I like a challenge.
And so I'm wondering if any of 405th have pep files, game files, foam files, ideas, tutorials, or anything that could help noobs like me complete a project like this.
Any help would be appreciated, I haven't set a timeframe to complete this project.

I would love to see a male quarian suit, unfortunately I am not seeing that picture showing up. Not sure if it's on my end or your link, or the site. If you can find 3d models of the file, it's pretty easy to cut it up for pepakura (or cnc!)

Image should be fixed, thanks for pointing that out.
And thanks for the game rip, I had a similar file laying about. Had a quick look at it and it will need some cleaning up if I'm to pep the files.


Edit: And just had another quick look in blender, It still contains the 'face' of the quarian so there is going to be a lot of cleaning involved. Better get the blender handbook out again.

Its not much but in the database (Linked here ---> http://www.4shared.com/folder/CCB_6QwQ/405th_Pepakura_Database.html) In the Mass Effect base is the Tali's mask. Should work with your build because there all the same.

I have already looked at this file and passed it off. The camber of the face place is a little too much, the sides need to be elongated a little and the top of the mask is missing important details.
Thank you for the effort though.

Just as an update I did this a while back, with new tricks i've learned I can hopefully clean it up and make it pep-able

morning all, I've just spent the last 2 hours rummaging through the main game files of ME2 and I'm very happy to say I've found a FULL Quarian male Skeletal mesh.

P.S. Bare in mind the majority of the quarian is basically a wetsuit but there are very obvious 'armor' pieces there. If you would like me to clean the armor pieces off PM me and I'll try to sort it in short order.

Thanks for that Noble, I'll be sticking to the ME3 rip instead though, slightly more detail and the helm is better shaped imo. I wont get you to clean the armour, thanks for the offer though. It is something that I would like to experience. I'll keep in mind the wetsuit parts of the armour. thanks

SOught of, I have all the game files, started cleaning up the helmet. I haven't had time to do anything more than that, once my cpl exams are finished I can spend a little more time on it. So about a week maybe 2 before I can make some proper headway. Thanks for the interest
