Master Chief at a Star Trek convention

Having heard of a Star Trek convention coming to town Longshot decided that the Master Chief needed to crash the party (so to speak) and I went along for the ride and to take pictures and video, see it here: http://www.squidoo.com/real-master-chief-crashes-trekkie-convention

Yup... even the event staff wanted pics too.
In fact one of the security personel escorted us around (for free)

I think the security guy "escorted" us around for the publicity. You know, be seen with the Master Chief. I think I saw him drool a couple times too. Here's a pic of the main area where we first met him...

If we went downstairs, he came along...

The event staff showed us what we missed the day before, a hottie dressed in a 7 of 9 costume!!

I loved the video. It's funny to see people start to notice you, and I laughed when I saw all the people poking each other and taking photos. At that point, all I could hear in my head was from NBA Jam for Super Nintendo's announcer: "...And the crowd goes wild!"

Sad really that I have no speakers on my computer atm.

Thank you. We feel that it's worth it too. I like to call it INSPIRATION and MOTIVATION. We definitly have more plans and photo/vid shoots to do. I can already think of several locations.

Glad you loved it. That is a normal "shopper" reaction. They have tunnel vision because they are concentrating on the merchandise before them. All it takes is for one person to lookup. Then the rest follow. Very entertaining to see how long it takes the crowd to notice and to see how they react. So far its always been very positive.
