So This is not my First Build I made a full pepakura Low Res Halo 3 build that was fiber glassed and has served me well for the Last 7 years but Now its time for another this time out of EVA Foam for most of it (or try to)

So I ended up with the boots mostly finished

Ended up having to do some (arguably most) of them the pepakura way but..... my first attempt at foam was ugly as sin haha.

Hope to have updates every few days and make as much progress as I can while on leave.

Anyone Have a better way of Sealing the "Seams" Other than just filling them with Hot glue?

Finished the Second Shin, The sin pieces are just a touch Small (forgot to account for the foam thickness) But that's fine With some creative stretch elastic It will have a snug fit hoping it will stay in place with friction.

You could try caulk. You would need to use the paintable variety. Just make sure you get one of those caulk applicators for scraping away at excess caulk. Don't use y a wet finger. It will only indent the caulk into the seam......a straight edge is what you need......of course the best thing to do is not have any seams showing but that takes time and exp.

Like Dirtdives said, the best thing is to have no seams at all. No one is perfect though.
To fill my seams I use DAP Kwik Seal. Squeeze some into the area to fill, with a damp finger smooth it out. Just be careful not to put too much. If there is too much it starts to look lumpy. Some people find that it doesn't sand very well.

KwikSeal doesn't sand well at all with lower grit sandpapers (60, 80, 120) since it just rips it off in clumps from the surface. I haven't tried higher grits or wet sanding but generally applying caulk is the last step of the surface prep process for me so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So the perfectionist in me wouldn't let me continue with Foam. The detail wasn't there and my skill with foam sucks haha. So back to Pepakura and Fiberglass the things I know how to do for the rest of the Build. Might even redo the bottom pieces after the rest are made.

So I finished out the other Hand, Both Biceps, and forearms. Now just the daunting Task of the Chest pieces left to tackle.

Thanks Dirtdives. I'll get a pic when I get off work but the sizing is perfect, the "nipple" spot on the chest piece is right inlign with my ears and the lower half wraps perfectly around my waste.

Scaling for the Chest came from the forearm measurements.

I like to follow your thread. Love pepakura builds <3
But seeing part of the chest I'm afraid it can be bit too small.
Great job on pepping all pieces. ;)
