Well, I've been lurking around here for a while. I read most of the tutorials about pep and fiberglassing, and I decided to start a WIP. I started this late September, but I didn't make a WIP then because I'd have no time to update it (Lots of School work.) So here it goes.

I know these pieces aren't perfect, but I'm not that good at pepakura.

tips/ critique apreciated, feel free to bash at my work if you think it deserves it :D

not bad for a first start but my advice is start with easier things then move on the the more difficult things and most of the errrors to me look like you just rushed a bit

yeah, I did rush a bit, but I'm planning to fix that with bondo

yea my advice is to take your time till your pep is perfect so you use as little bondo as possible because its heavy and its not that easy to etch in all the little imperfections without experience, i would redo the pieces and take your time trust me

Thanks for the advice, but I really can't start over. My dad is already mad at me for using all of the ink, and I don't have much time to work on my armor. (I have 4 honors classes.) I know what you're saying is right, and I know i should restart. But I will take your advice for the other parts, thanks :)

yea my mom gets pissed to expecially because ive made each armour perm about 15 times trying to get it perfect, well good luck on your build ill be watching

nice pep work i have just started the bondoing on that type of helmet i would like to see some updates on your work thanks smasher

Thanks for the kind words, Smasher. Just finished the left shoulder. I like it a lot more than the right one, I spent more time with the smaller pieces this time. here it is! :D

Yeah, I know blah blah blah don't double post, I'm sorry about it. Happy Holidays to anyone reading this, thanks for your time. I finished my left forearm today, and I'm currently fiberglassing my helmet (It's almost done :D)
Here's the forearm

******************************************UPDATE********************************
**********

I was working some more on my armor. this is the new stuff

low def codpiece- I was too lazy to build a high def one, and there wasn't really too much detail.

hi-Def Shin- I spent about a week on this one. It still has a few imperfections, i'm working on them right now =/

Left handplate- I like this one better than the right one

And the left hi- Def boot- it's warped a bit in the front, I blame it on my anger issues.

and here's my attempt at fiberglass with my helmet

It got terribly warped. learn from my mistakes and ALWAYS USE THE VISOR/ SUPPORT STRUTS!!! It will save you ink and paper. I'm gonna start on FS's hi- Def helm soon.

So whatdya guys think?

Oh and btw, would anyone like to see a demo of what a sledgehammer does to a helmet :)
(I've got nothing better to do with it)
And sorry for crap quality pics- Phone cameras suck.

O and btw, is anyone (in highschool) doing FIRST robotics by any chance? it would be pretty awesome to get a group of spartans at the national competition :D
just in case nobody noticed, update is above. O and sorry for the double post.
