alright, so ive done a helmet, and some hand plates, a couple of knives and stuff, but i havent really felt satisfied with some of the items, like the helmet (its the smooth model, and i didnt know enough to make it accurate. right now im working on an hd helm and chest. nearly done ab plate, ill post pictures later. oh and for those who have seen my other posts, ill be incorporating my sound system and HUD in this one. thanks guys!

Best bet is to scale the boots to the shoe or boot that you will be using, but if your happy with how its scaled now then I would just stick with the ones you made, BTW looks like your off to a good start on your build
*AHEM* sorry that this is pretty much a necro, but its better than starting a new thread haha. so right now its 5:30 in the morning, working on my helmet right now because i couldn't sleep. ill take pictures tomorrow hopefully, because im making some good progress. ill be ordering my visor and helmet lining soon, ill also be away until sunday or monday, as ill be ice climbing. but right now i need help with finding something- i have the leds already, but does anyone know where i can get some lenses or something to go over the lights? just having leds there wouldnt look right

While not exactly lenses, I used some metal LED holders that add a finished look to the installation. The bulb is not covered with a lens, but it still looks good.

sweet idea! i might need to find something a bit smaller, but looks good. thanks for the idea. so i primed the helmet so i can see any problems easier, ill post some photos when i pretty much get bondoing done
alright, i am VERY sorry for necro-ing my own thread, but due to numerous health issues i havent been able to work on my suit. WELL!!! ive started back up, slowly but surely. i hardened my torso piece a bit and put the first coat of resin on the left bicep. Thanks for checking out my build guys!!
WELL!! a while ago i bought a carter helmet from blackula, fixed it up, added paint, some lights and ordered 2 face shields (visors). they came in the mail this morning- ones gold for chief, the other is rainbow for the commando.
Thanks for checking out my stuff! tomorrow i have the day off, ill try to get more done if i can. if i do anything itll be on the helmet, more hardening on some soft spots, shaping with bondo, making the lining for the inside and mounting the visor. if you have any suggestions, feel free to post

PROGRESS!!!
kay its slow, but things are still busy!! i hope to be done by haloween (thats spelt the RIGHT way) and ill be less busy soon.
its not glued in yet, just showing you what it looks like. i also bondoed a bit as you can see. as for the tube, i work at best buy- were renovating the store and this was in the back and i just had to take some. been looking for EVER now, found it by chance. so ill be gone all next week, and possibly the next because of camping and being promoted to a gaming and digital audio specialist!! WOOT!!

sigh... its been a while, hey? well im working hard on the suit. i just have about 5 peices to pep, ill harden all the peices and paint, i want it quickly done for halloween. the helmet is close to completion:
