this was what i got when i started on the upper chest plate and most of the upper body i had to make a few tweaks but overall most of it was simple once you pulled those all nighters for the first week of progress despite having a few templates some parts of the armor was improvised especially the back which was especially challenging for me especially because i was new and so on but with not much to do i decided that spending hours on this would work which his honestly have i learned that just taking breaks was what i needed the most throughout it

GUNGNIR shoulders in both Regular and Foam Optimized Pepakura files can be found here:

I know you have templates already, but if you wanted to browse, here are our Reach Army Trooper/Marine Templates:

I used the female troopers as most of my references especially because they lacked most of the accessories that the males had which helped when I couldn’t tell what i was looking at and drawing every template by hand did take me longer but truthfully im not a big tech guy so i had no idea how to use the models and so on so idk if i made this unnecessarily more harder or if it was more better the other photos was just to show more of my progress by the second week which school started and so on which took me some time but i worked throughout i would have posted most progress but i forgot to take pics throughout the second week but the 3rd week would be a waiting game for me for all the Materials and so on to come in but i did work and tweak things which i will share in my next post

Sorry about that i will work on that im a poor typer on computer and I appreciate that because 100% of my templates have been hand drawn and made that harder.

If you would like additional templates and patterns, search for Andrew DFT. He also has templates available, as well as a whole series of YouTube Videos telling you how to use his patterns. His Reach series is Titled "ODST," but the Reach area ODST has the same base as the Marine and Army Trooper, just has the standard ODST shoulders, helmet, and chest plate mounted on top of the Reach soldier chest plate. So, you can use everything from his "ODST" tutorials and templates except for those parts and get a solid Reach Trooper:

Ok and this was week 3 of everything. My friend had helped me with the helmet he had a 3d printer he could use. We looked online for a template to use for the helmet which we founded. I then started to work on making the chest plate look better and same with the back. which admittedly caused me more trouble than anything i messed up 2 times trying to fix the back straps. And slowly moved to making templates for the legs. I even looked up different foam techniques. A commenter suggested “Andrew DFT” which i used his thigh template i didn't have a printer unfortunately so i just copied it by hand i will show you the results of next week and the most recent version of what i had done.

Thank you i have watched his video which helped with the thigh plate. I liked his shin guard but i just couldn’t replicated as well. So i ended up making my own version of it but your a star. i didn’t really believe my friend when he said get involved with the community and so on

So this will be the second to last post until everything is caught up. This was what i came up with for the shin guards not to crazy but yk something. I plan on adding a few more details to it afterwards. I know its not accurate but as many other cosplayer channels said. “Just have fun with it” anyways the next post will be posted soon

When you use hot glue what I do is take the hot tip and smooth out and clean up the spillage on the outside to make it look nice. Other than that it's looks pretty good so far
