Hello Pacific Regiment!!

You may have heard murmurs across the different regiments of a collective project that has been in the works in a couple different places. Now it's time to pick up our tools, and join in the fun here in Pacific Regiment!

It's time for OPERATION LIVE FIRE

operation Live Fire is a multi regiment project, to create new booth set pieces for us to bring with us to our conventions. We decided to collectively share, document, and build in parallel, new booth spaces, all with the singular focus of stepping into the map Live Fire in Halo Infinite!

Each regiment participating will be tackling the project in their own ways, and we have already started planning in Pacific Regiment.

The goals of this project is to create a modular series of parts, that can be assembled to create a unified set that we can scale up or down depending on our convention appearances!

We will use this forum space to document our build, as well as communicate and take suggestions, or organize build parties!

So, to start us off, here is where we are as far as the planning stage goes. We are looking to start with a 3 panel modular wall system, that allows us to incorporate 3 different wall aesthetics, including a central focal point. Here are some of the concepts that Midwest Regiment put together, as well as in game screenshots, that we will be using as a North Star.

From there, I made an additional sketch. I would really like to incorporate the door as our focal wall.

I have also gone ahead and started the woodworking designs for our base. I have to go back and tweak some things, and then design the facade, but I should be able to get some woodworking plans ready to go here soon.
