Predator Masks

Hey all, been a long time since I got on here. I wasn't sure if this was ok for the creation discussion seeing as it's not halo, so I played it safe and put it here. I decided I wanted to try my hand at a Predator mask. I don't know of any pepakura files for this, so the only other option that I myself see is sculpting and casting it. I want to make the one from the original Predator. This sort of thing:

And I also want to make the celtic mask from AVP:

The original one shouldn't be TOO hard as it is fairly simple. However, the celtic mask is much more complicated. I am not the best at sculpting clay and while I MAY be able to manage the original, the celtic is way beyond me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to do this. I have already been to thehunterslair.com but I wanted some opinions from some people here too. Thanks in advance!

Haha funny. As I write this I've got blender open and I'm making a model for pepakura. I'll be using it as a base for a clay model to make a custom bio for a friend.

My nephew is heavily into predator and I was wondering if you are going to post your pep file when you get it done. A lot of people would be interested in it, or other predator related pep files.

Here's what it is so far. For my first ever use of 3d modeling and blender I think it's pretty good.

It'll be a custom bio. This will just be a base for the clay. Unfortunately the guy I'm making it for is about 13 hours from me so I needed a way to scale it to his large head. The model is going towards the original Predator Bio so far just because it's so simple and it will be easy to build off of.

Ok, ya thats fine. The basic shape helps a lot when it comes to using clay. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I would make the celtic bio? It's a lot more complicated lol

lol hes right Iam a major fan of predator.

I'll definitely post it you won't have to worry. But it will only be the 3d model file not a pep file. Someone else will have to finish off the transition and unfold it. Btw I'm just tweaking it and adding the laser sight section.

If someone unfolds it, try to make the crown/ top of the head area the least amount of pieces. I think it would make it easier.

EDIT: Hey while i figure this out, I have decided to make a sort of staff. With predator in mind, I'm looking for ideas to make it look SWEET! So far I'm gonna woodburn the predator clan symbols into it, and I'm gonna do a leather wrap handle. Anything else you guys can come up with?

Predators carry 2 types of "stick" weapons. You have the oh so damned cool Combi-Stick that expands from 2 to 8 feet with a simple push of a button (good luck with that one ). And you have the Naginata variant which consists of a fixed bladed staff weapon of about 8 feet in length consisting of a very dark gnarled wooden staff with a 12-18 inch blade on one or both ends. Generally it is very primitive looking and I believe that it's more of a ceremonial weapon than a weapon for the hunt/combat.

I'm not really looking to make the kinds from the movies, I'm just making a cool looking staff thing XD Just with a predator theme to it. Like it's gonna have the clan symbols on it like I said.
