Prop Project [Need help brainstorming]

Hey everyone,
So I recently got this Nerf Vulcan EBF-25 from my nephew since he's "too old nerf guns". I was thinking of using as the base for a weapon prop but couldn't decide what would best fit it's profile. My current thoughts were doing a M247 HMG or M460 AGL. Maybe a custom amalgamation of the two? I'm not sure yet. Feedback and brainstorming would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just learned there was a concept for a mobile version of the M460 so I think I know what I might be making.

if you haven't decided to do anything yet, you could try and make it into a gauss turret from halo 5.

I've never seen the M460 before, that would be an awesome build!
