Question about Pepakura Templates

Hello!

So I'm new to foam crafting cosplay armor.

And I'm looking to start slowly building an ODST kit.

I was messing with Pepakura and watched some videos on its use, I have Clicked off "Show Flaps" printed the templates but as I look at them notice some peculiarities vs foam templates. Such as it seems many of these pieces require "Folding to make depth" something foam already has.

Am I supposed to remove such parts from the template? And if so whats the quick way to check if its a part I should remove or not?

If you scroll down you will see there is a whole section for the files that have been altered for use with EVA foam. You will want to look for the files with "FOAM" in the file name.
