Thanks to the wonderful Steam Summer sale I found myself buying and thoroughly enjoying Dishonored. I keep seeing the mask and I can't help but think, "man, that would be cool to have!" Due to being stuck in a dorm I can't start another build like I want to but I thought this could be an awesome smaller project to ease my addiction to this stuff for a little while.
Anyways, here's what my goal is.

Keep in mind I know it won't look nearly as good as that but I like to strive as high as I can to achieve the best result possible.
DAY 1
What I've done is gone to the local hobby lobby and picked up a Styrofoam head along with some epoxy type putty called milliput. I outlined where I planned on building up the mask and other parts.

I decided to attempt and use body filler as the main substance of this mask. It's study and light enough for me, the only issue will be sanding later on since I'm quite horrible at keeping a smooth surface. SIDENOTE: I somewhat expected this, but when working with bondo body filler and styrofoam be careful where you put it, because it eats at the foam slightly (about 1/8 of an inch or a little less.) BUT that makes it incredibly easy to remove your work off the head.

That's all for today folks! I'm quite busy throughout the week so the progress will be slow. If you plan on keeping up with this, which I hope some do, I'd check in maybe once or twice every two weeks to see where I'm at. Once I get done with the bulk and move onto the smaller clockwork like pieces on the side and eyes, THAT will be when progress really kicks off. My goal is to have this done for halloween.
