Spartan III Armor Build

Myself and MothMonty got talking today about HALO related armor. Several ideas got bumped around and the 3 of us (MothMonty's brother is getting in on it also) finally came up with the idea of kickin it "old school" and doing up 3 MC's.

Then i came across the "official Halo Reach Pepakura Files" thread. So it didnt take long to switch and now it's all about the Spartan III.

So the plan is....

3 of us building a single suit, but making the pepakura strong enough to vacu form it

Using the following files

Spartan III files by Rundown (the full zip version unfolded by Brandon)
Spartan III boot by Rhinoc (unfolded by Zero2o2)
Spartan III handplates built and unfolded by Ruze789

Looks great James, your patience is incredible especially since you have to deal with my shawdy cutting lol . On this forum I forgot I was Para_Fett not Mothmonty. Starting the helmet today, man instead of nintendo thumb I have scoring/cutting fingers.

What i have pepped so far is now getting a coat of resin. The shin and 1 part of the belt is done with 2 coats. Had to design a bunch of braces to support the chest and keep it rigid for the resin.....will update with pics as soon as i am able.

Got my Emile Helmet and spent about 6 hours putting this nightmareof a helmet together.







I have the chest half resined. Hopefully get some more resined tomorrow if the weather cooperates.
